The Wilshire 5000 Index Fund is passively managed by Los Angeles Capital Management and is designed to track the Wilshire 5000 IndexSM. The Index measures the performance of all U.S. equity securities with readily available price data. Although there are approximately 5000 stocks in the Index, the Wilshire 5000 Index Fund typically invests in 2000-2500 stocks in order to adequately track the performance of the Index.
